The Aledo Ladycats junior varsity team outscored Tenaha in every quarter in winning 74-14 recently.
Eleven players scored for Aledo, led by Karsyn Evans and Mesoma Emeka-Okoye with 12 points each. Also scoring were Jaylee Owens and Kaelee Berkley with eight points each, Kennedy Cardenas and Savanah Salas with seven points each; Lily Heckathorn with six; Natalie Browning and Breleigh Mayer scored five each; and Jenna Haeussler and Coral Slough had two each.
The Aledo Ladycats freshmen went 2-2 in four games in the Weatherford Tournament this past weekend.
They began the tournament with a 44-29 victory against Burleson, then dropped a 38-37 heartbreaker to Stephenville. That was followed with a 46-18 win over Cleburne and a 43-31 loss to Granbury.

Gudel, Edwards combine for 42
The Aledo Ladycats freshmen defeated Everman 53-32 recently as Autumn Gudel scored 22 points and Sarah Edwards added 20.
The Ladycats broke the game open with a 16-6 run in the third quarter after holding a 25-19 halftime lead.
Also scoring for Aledo were Nealee Parsons, six points, Braylin Wiggins, three; and Ruby Tarrant, two.
