Aledo Orange boys and girls golf teams captured first place at the Burleson Centennial Tournament Nov. 2 at Southern Oaks Golf Club in Burleson.
Jake Phillips shot a 77 to take top medalist honors and lead the Bearcats to a team score of 323. They were 27 shots ahead of runner-up Burleson.
The Ladycats were led by Reagan Gilliland, who posted a 91 for third place individually. Their team score of 370 was 79 strokes better than second-place Legacy Christian.
Also for the Bearcats were Grayson Freeman, 79; Helton Mosiello, 82; and Braydon Stokes, 85.
Other Ladycat scores were Kennedi Parker, 92; Sara Michaelis, 92; and Karlee Shaw, 95.
The tournament wraps up the fall season for Aledo Orange girls.
The Bearcats junior varsity also concluded their fall season by winning a tournament hosted by Midlothian Heritage, shooting 361. Cade Moore’s 76 was the low individual score in the tourney. He was followed by other Aledo scores that included Maddux Jessup, 89; Noah Graham, 95; and Johnnie Reed, 101.
